Hi there!
Hi there,
I'm Donna, a 30 year old special needs worker from Alberta Canada. I speak American Sign Language, Signed Exact English, and pidgeon - a combo of both. I work in a high school with a deaf autistic 16 year old and it is a little frustrating, but very rewarding.
Welcome to the year 2000! Some say that it isn't the real new millenium, but really... who cares? Most people think it is that's why there were big celebrations all over the world. I wonder if the Y2K fanatics were disappointed?
My interests:
I have many varied interests. I love learning, so I am going to college part time. I like people, so I am a sales consultant part time. I like kids, so work in a high school full time as a special needs worker. I love to laugh, and surround myself with people who feel the same way. I love to golf, but that is very seasonal here. Sooo I do a lot of word puzzles, and play on the computer. I love computers... wonderful inventions. My favorite diversion is my son. He is 2 years old and takes a lot of energy to keep up to. He is the most special part of my life. I also kill myself laughing whenever he stands on the couch, strikes a body builder pose, and yells out "ME HUGE". Not sure where he learned it, but it's hilarious. I think my husband taught it to him.
